How do I sign up?
You may sign up by clicking on "sessions " or by calling 719-488-8233. We recommend that you make your reservation a week in advance, however if there is any opening in any given session we are happy to accommodate you.

How many people per session?
12 participants per session. You can bring a friend to share or help.

How often can I plan to come to a session?
If you are planning on serving What About Dinner? entrées 3 times a week, you can come once a month. But if you are planning on serving the entrées almost every day, you will want to come twice a month.

Do I need to bring anything to the session?
Yes. You can bring a cooler, (recommended) laundry basket, large bag or box to transport the food home. Get home as soon as possible and place entrées in the freezer. We provide aprons and all the containers and everything that you may need. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes.

What are the store hours?
We are closed Sundays and Mondays. Please check the "sessions" page for the schedule that will best meet your needs.

Do I need to know how to cook?
No. All the ingredients are prepared and ready for you. You just follow the step-by-step instructions on the recipe at each preparation station. If you have any questions or need any help, staff is available at all times.

Do I cook the entrées at What About Dinner?
No. You assemble all the fresh ingredients into a ready to cook entrée. Take them home and put them in the freezer. Thaw the entrée in the refrigerator a day before you are ready to use it. Simply follow the cooking instructions on the label.

What are the food choices?
Each month has a completely new selection of 12 entrées. Our chef designs a variety of entrées for your enjoyment. Do you want to see a specific dish on the Menu? Give us your recommendations.

Do I save any money? What is the cost?
Yes, you save money. A regular session will cost you about $2.77 per serving. Please click on the "services/pricing” button on the left for detailed pricing information.

How do I pay for the session?
The best way is on-line using your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, etc.), or you can call us at 719-488-8233 we can sign you up for a session, and we'll take your payment information over the phone.

Can I bring my children?
For their own safety, we ask you not to bring children under 10 years old.

How many people will each dish serve?
A regular session entrée will serve 4 to 6 people and a half session entrée will serve 2 to 3 people.

What if I need to reschedule?
If you cancel more than 5 days before your scheduled session, you may reschedule at any time or get a full refund. If you cancel within 3 days or less of your scheduled session you will be responsible for the full amount. Your options are: For us to assemble your meals for an additional charge or you may receive a session credit that you may use within 2 weeks of your cancelled session. Yes. You can pack the entrées according to your needs.

Yes. Since you assemble the entrées yourself, most can be customized to meet your needs, or dietary requirements.

How do I store the entrées?
Store them in the freezer until they are ready for use.

What is the recommended procedure for thawing the food?
Food should be placed in the refrigerator one night or two before consumption. NEVER thaw any food at room temperature.
